Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Adah Jewels collects through adahjewels.in and WhatsApp, why we collect it, and your rights over it under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, WhatsApp number, city and delivery address, and what you bought.
• When you message us: the messages and anything you choose to share, such as a birthday or anniversary you would like us to remember.
• When you pay online: Razorpay processes your payment. We receive confirmation that you paid and a payment reference. We never receive your card, UPI or bank details.
• Your bag is stored in your own browser so it is still there when you come back. It is not sent to us until you check out.

Why we use it

• To confirm, pack, deliver and support your order.
• To talk to you on WhatsApp about your order, a return, or a piece you asked about.
• To keep the records the law requires for tax and accounts.
• If you shared a birthday or anniversary with us, to send you a note on the day. Tell us to stop at any time and we will.

We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

• Courier partners, so they can deliver your parcel.
• Razorpay, to process payments.
• WhatsApp, which carries our messages to you.
• The service providers that host this website and its database, under confidentiality terms.

We share only what each of them needs to do their part.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting, and other data only while it is useful to serve you. You can ask us to delete your data sooner, except where we are legally required to keep it.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw any consent you gave. Message us on WhatsApp or email contact@adahjewels.in and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

Data is stored with reputable cloud providers, access is limited to the Adah team, and payments never touch our systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share.
